 Ages (1-4)- An adorable toddler sized story about the incredible Greek Demigod, Hercules.  Hercules in this story is a toddler, still figuring out his strengths, with constant reminders to play nice with his little sister. Hercules one day learns the consequence of being mean and makes his sister cry. He, however, fixes the problem and him and his sister experience a bonding moment. At the end of the story there is an information page explaining the myth of Hercules, this page seems more suited for the parent's informational needs rather than the children.  The text an early introduction into Greek Mythology with just the mentioning of Hercules. The illustrations enhance Hercules' story by showing his strengths and power to change.

On the first endpage, we see a little red-haired girl who we later find out is named Mia, Mia is counting and jumping through puddles calling out to her sister. In typical little sister fashion, Mia follows her sister Lucy EVERYWHERE! Lucy feels as if her little sister is an annoying little monster and tells her to get lost. When her wish comes true, and real monsters want to keep Mia, Lucy gets monstrous too! With vivid colors spreading from each corner of the book, Fotheringham really showcases the love and nuisance of having a younger sibling. Through Rosenbaum's dialogue, the reader is shown how grateful they should be to having a younger sibling. Highly recommended for older siblings who need to be gently reminded that, it's not always so bad having a little sibling.
